Fascinating. Thanks, Jack. I think I'll take a stroll in Poet's Walk.

Yes. From MOLLOY:

And I still remember the

day when, flat on my face by way of rest, in defiance of the rules,

I suddenly cried, striking my brow, Christ, there’s crawling, I never

thought of that. But could I crawl, with my legs in such a state, and

my trunk? And my head. But before I go on, a word about the

forest murmurs.

The movie, Greaser"s Palace had a crawl scene..along with much more outrageous scenes. Made by Robert Doeney Jr's dad in North Carolina I believe.

Morning Jack. A wonderful Talking to America. I love to walk and I know that Kate does all the time. Edward Payson Weston was amazing and amazing how many miles this man walked in his 90 years. WOW!!! He definitely kept on the move.

Theoretically inspiring. If he walked in the outfits in the photos, I'd be amazed, especially those shoes. Way before .Adidas was invented and Dr. Scholl's started out. Not that I could replicate his feats, no pun intended, even with the right shoes and foot care stuff available today.

I try to get out and walk when I can, though the danger of the car culture is discouraging. I find it true that it spurs thinking.
